dc.description.abstractThis article focuses on the experience of viewing polyhedra in modified kaleidoscopes, highlighting the perceptive acts that take place. It presents aspects of geometry, such as concepts and ideas involved in the visualization of polyhedra in kaleidoscopes, through an analyticalmathematical study of the reflection of images in mirrors and generalized kaleidoscopes. In a phenomenological perspective, we call attention to the acts that are carried out in this experience and its possibilities of unfolding, leading the discussion to Merleau-Ponty ideas regarding the primacy of perception, which sustains the encounter of the being in the world.pt_BR
